I live in Poway, California. I want to get into downhill really bad but my dad isnt going to take me all over to ride. I was wondering what trail requirments are for a downhill bike to ride on. I would probably be riding/walking to the top, sence they dont have many gears. but please help, this is the only thing stopping me from getting my dream bike. Is there such thing as a flat trail that you could have fun on with a downhill bike.
